CIDO CEO, Cara Dallat was joined by Lord Major of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon City Council, Julie Flaherty and representatives from the four other local Enterprise Agencies as they joined forces to launch an exciting new Accelerator Programme for new and existing businesses from across the Borough.

Offering a series of interactive workshops, seminars and one to one expert mentoring, the programme will also give participants the opportunity to pitch for up to £1m equity stake investment for their business from private investors.

The mentoring sessions will be delivered by highly experienced business leaders in finance, digital marketing, sales, business planning and strategy.

Speaking at the launch Cara commented “There is a vast array of support available for start-up businesses in Northern Ireland, including initiatives such as the Go for It programme. However, we also need to focus on indigenous SME growth and develop the support required to help businesses survive the difficult first 12 months and set themselves on a trajectory of rapid growth. This programme aims to enable high growth potential businesses to grow more rapidly than they may do on their own.”

If you are a business based in the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough with an appetite to grow, contact Cara Dallat for more details on how to access investment and mentoring through this exciting new programme. Tel 028 3839 6520 or email
