Tradelinks

CIDO is the local delivery agent for the Tradelinks Programme.

The Tradelinks programme is designed to assist micro-enterprises across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Leitrim, Sligo and Donegal by:

• Enhancing employment generation opportunities
• Developing exporting capability
• Addressing barriers to cross border trade
• Investigating opportunities afforded by new product development
• Encouraging innovation

Tradelinks is a partnership initiative between Enterprise NI, the network of local enterprise agencies, and the Border County Enterprise boards and is supported by the EU Interreg 111A Programme for Ireland/Northern Ireland, Invest NI, the International Fund for Ireland and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

Benefits of the programme include:

• Suite of programmes specifically designed to address issues unique to micro-enterprise sector
• Team of experienced assessors and mentors.
• One to one mentoring support in a variety of categories including Marketing, Finance, Information Technology Support and R&D.
• Opportunity to form linkages and clusters with similar micro enterprises
• Signposting service to other programmes

The Tradelinks Programme will be in operation until June 2012 and is available to any micro enterprise in Northern Ireland or the border counties of the Republic of Ireland.
